Warning !!!

Back on Aug 17th I bought an electric oil pump from Propelled Marine (www.propelledmarine.com) for $397. To date it has not been delivered and I cannot get in touch with them. The phone goes to a full mailbox, Internet Explorer says there is a problem with their website and has blocked it, and Hotmail has returned e-mails I've sent to them as "undeliverable". It would appear they are out of business? If you use Firefox you can still reach their website, but I don't know for how much longer. This is just a warning to everyone that they might want to find a different place to shop.

They are in California. As an update, just as mysteriously as no item, I received a message from Paypal this afternoon telling me that they (Propelled Marine) have refunded me my money!! Don't ask me why or how, I'm just happy to get my cash back. (Although truthfully I really wanted that oil pump thingie). Gonna try the link that JasonCoopercola put up, (www.marinesolutionswi.com/index.htm) see if I can get it through them. In all cases, I'd be very careful in any dealings with Propelled marine...

Depends on how you look at it. Mom fell and broke her leg.. not good luck for sure, but the doctors said where it broke was the best possible spot, not the hip..Sounds like GREAT LUCK to me!!!
I didn't get the oil pump thingie, bad luck...but I got my money back!! Great luck again!!! See? Everything has a silver lining :)

Well, went to Marine Solutions ..they make the unit and do not sell directly to retail customers, only to retailers/marine supply stores. Found Go2marine with an internet search. (www.go2marine.com) Placed order with them. Same price. Hopefully this will finish the story.

Electric oil injection unit arrived today from Go2Marine. Nicely packaged, looks well made. Will try hooking it up tomorrow Sat) if time permits and report back on how it works. :nice:

No, not yet. Unfortunately mom's condition took a turn for the worse over the weekend and I spent most of my time with her and talking to doctors. As of today she's much improved from a low on Sat, but she's still not 100%. She got an infection from the surgery and it and the meds combating it caused some complications. I'll get it installed as soon as I get some free time. Right now boating is a distant, hoped for
goal.
