Re: Like this one.
I can see clearly now that the surf block is gone. That don't look to bad.
|
Re: Like this one.
It really IS an interesting top...kinda looks like a V-20 Tour-Boat, but w/ side curtains, it'd make a great winter-fisher ;) ...
|
Re: Like this one.
To me, with the correct adornments, it would look like the Jeepney's in the Philippine's ::) ;D

The one I posted is differnt. Like a mini dive charter boat. i wonder how he mounted the roof to the hull ?? Is this a Skool, Blue Runner or Stink question ;D ;D The Bay is flat today, have a few dollars in my pocket. Hmm, I can smell the salt water. Plans are set !! ;D |

Re: Like this one.
I say if an above 6'0" guy can stand in it, what they heck. I'm a wussy when it comes to wind, rain and all that so this boat might be cool. 8) The cockpits in the old V's like that are wide open too so there's still plenty of fishing room on the back. Add a bracket and convert the splashwell to a transom fish box and that would be cool IMO.
I'd like to see some more pictures. |
Re: Like this one.
Damm, and thought I was gonna get booted for saying I like it. I must have taiste, since others like it as well. ;D
I did email the guy requesting more pics. I'll post if he responds. |

Re: Like this one.
No problem for me w/ looks of that boat...but added weight of the top w/glass, plus close up shows paint flakin'...maintainence nightmare ::) ...and it'd take a bow-monkey to drop anchor ;) ...
|
Re: Like this one.
Bet it gets pretty danged hot under that top. Probably got a high center of gravity. Therefore the "Life Jackets??" reminder.
|
Re: Like this one.
Notice the fan?... :) ...
|
Re: Like this one.
Never thought of that Reel. Hmmm, anchor. :-/ :-/ :-/
|
Re: Like this one.
Sorry Hammer, I think CB nailed it in his eloquent comparison. Looks like he built that top from the scrap pile at Home Depot.
|
Re: Like this one.

Re: Like this one.
mulv is right bud, that thing is butt ugly!
|
Re: Like this one.
Pretty she aint, but the anchor if on a pulpit would be no problem as you can reach if set up right, it's like the hatch is all the way forward and with the windows open would not be to bad unless you lived in Bama or Fla. But you would be good to go around here for fall striper fishing.
But I bet you she bobs and weaves like Muhammed Ali in a chop. |
