Sweet looking.. Hard to tell from the pics, 44 magnum or .357? I love Ruger pistols.. I have a 357 single action from them that's one of my favorites.

Sweet I want one love to have a 44 Mag!! Looks like dads old halibut buster he had a S&W 357Mag with the rubber grips. To bad Canada has such a negative view on them:cry:. Got to go get a permit from the cops just to take it from your house to the range???? Prob get 15 years for packing one with out God signing off on it :head:.

44 Mag, my first pistol. It shoots alot better than I thought. I hope to kill a hog somewhere.

Redneck 02-01-2012 02:22 PM

We are over run with them :cen: hogs up here as well. I shot 2 of them last week. We get $50 for a set of ears. Good fun when it pays for gas and beer and makes a great pig roast party!

I like the Ruger pistols too.

I retrofit my Single Six with the red ramp front and white outline back sights and a trigger kit. .22 cal/.22 mag - love it for plinking and in SS it is a good boat gun. Happy belated b-day. Hope you enjoy the .44. It is a HOSS.

Real nice blue!!
If you ain't scoping it look at a #4 Uncle Mikes vertical shoulder holster. Very comfortable.

Stinky_Hooker 02-01-2012 04:19 PM

Awesome!!

Done and done......found a closeout priced Leoupold and chest holster. My plan is to sneak up on some in the kayak, marsh assault. Thats my plan anyway.

Seriously? Why, who buys em?

I could CLEAN UP and pay lease dues in a couple weekend in Feb.

Very nice, I had the Smitty M29 version, stout caliber. Just a thought if you have not already done so. Pick up or reload 44 Special's for everyday practice, or if do handload load the 44 to 44 Special pressure. Makes a dang fine home defense gun if you do that to.

And careful with the 180gr stuff. It's real intense compared to 240gr.
Crisp would be a better word.

The county office pays the bounty on them. They just destroy the bush they live in and everything else so they gotta go. A few years ago me and a buddy shot 17 of em on a weekend. That paid for one nasty party that I have Know idea what happened for a few days:sun:.

we got them all around down here as well, freind of mine took 5 out yesterday, for were in traps, the 5th was momma coming after him for messing with her piglets, he said it was a "glock moment". In SC, you can hunt them year round, at night, with lights if you are using a pistol. The hot ticket now seems to be an AR in 300 black out caliber, 230-245 grain sub sonic

I got to move down there. All I get to do for sport is smoke'm out in a field at 400-600 yards. The sizzling little 243 reloads I shoot wack'm I shoot hornady GMX 80 gr out of it. Did at through and through at 300 yards and recovered it. After cleaning it it was still 79.6 gr it only lost the poly tip WOW! I'm also a huge fan of Barns XXX. Don't know if they make them in pistol slugs but them pistols shoota fair massive chunk of lead any way.
