Site freezing?

Is it just me, or is the site freezing up for others as well? i keep getting a database error after it taking over a minute for a page to load.

RidgeRunner 12-09-2011 11:23 AM

Not to complain but I have the same issue every now and then.

tsubaki 12-09-2011 12:19 PM

Most of the time for the last couple of weeks. About 30 seconds per click or database error.
This morning I didn't have any problems.

Destroyer 12-09-2011 12:24 PM

Yep...ditto. It's not just you Ferm. It's actually gotten so bad that I tend to copy anything of length that I write before I hit the submit post button... just in case the "database error" message comes up and I lose everything I wrote.

Gald to here I'm not alone . It's been getting worse for awhile now.I just thought that the problem was between my keyboard and my seat.

Just got home from camping and she seems to be working good now.

chumbucket 12-12-2011 10:16 AM

I've voiced my complaints to the big guy several times. So far it seems to be falling on deaf ears. :arrr:

I've been renting dedicated boxes from these guys for years - http://www.codero.com/dedicated-server-hosting/ . They've got boxes as low as $70 per month. These are dedicated machines, and they treat them as if you own them.

Last year you were having problems and I offered the use of one of my dormant dedicated boxes, but never heard back from you. Will say again, if you ever need help with anything to do with Unix or Linux admin I'd be glad to help. This is what I do for a living.

macojoe 12-13-2011 12:37 PM

i will pass on the info to valiant as he is are server tec right now, and knows what is needed.

thanks a lot yo!!
