Interestingly enough, alteast from my persepctive...LOL I am going to be in Tampa from this coming Friday, till the 8th of October. I am going to see my dad this coming weekend, he is in Ocala, but the 3 weekends after that, I do believe I will be free. Atleast I hope so...lol Sooooo, whos in the area and would like to possibly do dinner or fishin:beer:

Can't help you on where to fish, but go Leroy Selmans and get the best chicken wings EVER!!...and then at night go to the Blue Martini...it's in a mall somewhere down there, but shouldn't be too hard to find...only take your wife if yer sure she doesn't mind yer eyes poppin' out from time to time...:you:

Fellow USF'er here. In the 90's there were hot spots to "pick-up" but as adult entertainment is concerned the "Museum" was tops. A guy named Joe Redner used to be the "King of Skin" in the greater Tampa Bay area. He owned them all so they were comparable. I have never been, but they tell me it's nice.

there is a lot in that decade that escapes me. i was there in 74,75, grad in 76. i lived in fontana hall one year and wedgewood apts sr year. we were across from the 9 hole golf course. most of our haunts were on nebraska ave and fowler & fletcher. was the brass mug in the corner of a strip mall?

Yes, Brass Mug on Fowler just east of USF property. Nickel beer. You wouldn't recognize the campus now. Greenery was off Fletcher. $1.00 pitchers and great bar food. I always lived off campus at Summit West in Temple Terrace. Attended in 91 and 92. Marketing and Management graduate. GO BULLS! Without football there was little respect.

We should do dinner if nothing else. I am trying to get free for a trip to the Suwannee. Not 100% sure of the details. A fellow boater and acquaintance is trying to rally a few people together for a cruise and raft up. You are welcome to tag along. You will fit right in. It is approx an hours drive WSW of Ocala. ferm, not sure how it's been down there, but st joe has been spectacular. best season in a long time. we went last sat and had a 3 person limit ( 6 gallons in the shell) in 40 minutes. most of the meat is very large this time of year. we found you are better cleaning at home, a 3 person limit of shells netted 2 quarts of mest, a 4 person limit of meat.

3:30 in the morning. I got up 2 hours after that. I am free for Sunday. I could easily drag the boat to Homasassa Sunday, trout/mack fishing, scalloping then hit the springs. Wife wasn't interested, it is her weekend for shopping, don't know about Melissa yet. I need a weather report.

It is a little overcast but the buoys 100 miles offshore show winds of 3-5 MPH and seas of 1.3 ft. Near perfect day for Gags if only I wasn't working..

Well I've got the boat hooked up and my gear in the BURB. I'm not an early riser, so I hope to be at the river ramp by about 10 or so as it is a bit of a drive from my house to get there.

UBHSTRY - Your voice mail has not been set up on your cell. My plans changed for Sunday. Homasassa bound but I will be a passenger on a friends boat instead of taking my own. My friend Bruce showed up from Jax. and we were invited to go scalloping. I want to do something, maybe the fishing trip for next weekend. I sent you a pm.
