FS: Seastar Hydraulic Steering, Complete Kit

This is from my old V-20 cc. The kit includes the helm pump, a stainless destroyer type wheel with a Wellcraft "horn" button, all hydraulic lines necessary to make the helm connect to the ram, and a steering ram that is less than 1 year old. This is a complete set-up and is for outboard motors to 250hp. It worked flawlessly on my Merc 225. The whole system is in great shape and the ram is still shiney and new(ish).

$500

Here are pictures of the helm, ram, and hoses. The ram is a Uflex 128 OBF-2 (cross reference with Seastar HC5345 or HC 5358). The ram is rated for up to 300hp with a single outboard or 600hp with twin outboards. It mounts to the motor via a link arm. The helm unit is a seastar unit as are the hoses. I believe that the hoses are 20 feet long.

Ahhh...now you're just playin' hard ball.

It's sitting on top of my lathe right now, and I need to turn down a bushing or something.

It is still available. I understand that it is something of a universal ram and I know that it attaches vial a link arm. The model of the ram is a Uflex 128 OBF-2, but I do not what outboard you have so I cannot tell you whether it is compatible. This link will take you to the ram compatibility guide. It looks like it is compatible with most Yamaha, Suzuki, Evinrude, Johnson, and Tohatsu models.
