looks like you got yourself a diamond in the rough... Good luck with her and welcome aboard the site :)
|
definitely looks sweet....I'm really starting to like them center consoles.
|
That is a great looking CC....and w/a 200 on the tranny, she oughtta skooter-poot pretty good!!
I agree on removing the bottom paint, if yer gonna leave her on the trailer most of the time...but it's gonna be the toughest thing you do to that hull...it don't come off easy...will your budget allow soda blasting and still keep the marriage intact?...if so, that's considered the primo way to go... Good luck w/it and keep postin' on the progress... |
Be still my heart! Looks great- another center console to drool over!!
|
Nice boat! Welcome to the site.

I wanted to remove the bottom paint myself, but ended up just lightly sanding and painting it white. (petitt vivid). It still looks pretty good.
Enjoy! |
And here is the thread with a pic.
http://www.wellcraftv20.com/communit...ad.php?t=13675 So over a year later it still looks pretty good, no green, I suppose it could use some touch-ups from the trailer and straps etc. It looks good enough all around to me to not bother... rkc |

My absence has been due to my wedding, should have done the soda blasting, well I still have 9 days plenty of time right? Yes bottom paint has to go, looks awful. I was looking at the pic of the painted bottom and that would do for now, would you happen to have the guys number that hooked you up?. I'd also like to ditch the bikini top, total pain in the *** when fishing, any advice on a t-top would be great. The trailer however is in rough shape, back beam is shot and rolls are toast. Can I get replacement parts for a shorelander? I've done a little calling around with no luck and should have asked here first. I'll get some deck pics up ASAP after all the wedding stuff is out of the way. Thanks again for all your nice words and in advance for any questions I have. Had her out 3 times so far and I have found my other girlfriend, good thing my fiance likes her too.:sun:
Thanks again and this site kicks ***, beautiful looking boats here, nice people too. Murph |
Congrats on the boat and the wedding. Smart move buying it before the big day. just kidding.
|
Congrats on the wedding!...I dont know about you but if that "bikini top" on my boat comes off the fishing would come to a complete halt!
I'm sure you can get any replacement part for your trailer somewhere...I get mine from Trailerpartsdepot.com they have every single piece down to the nuts and bolts available for my Loadrite trailer. I just looked though and it appears they dont stock Shoreland'r? weird...I'm sure you can get any part you need but be advised the costs rack up fast especially when you are dealing with a roller trailer.... Good luck with it |

After 23 years of marriage....I should have done the soda blasting, too... |
Nice boat. Congrats on the wedding. Been married for 16 years now and still happily married :-) Hoping you'll be able to say the same as the years go by...
Easternmarine is a good resource for all things trailer related: http://www.easternmarine.com/boat-trailer-parts/ As for tops, I bought and installed a prefab top from Stryker. Very happy with it. Here's the website: http://www.strykerttops.com/ |

Sorry, I don't have the guys number but I doubt he would travel that far... I see a lot of bikinis I would love to ditch myself....:pic: btw, I keep my bimini top in the cabin just for emergencies I guess. rkc |
