Air Ride seats installation??

I am getting ready to put a pair of air ride seats in the V-20 DC and am curious if anyone out there has done this??

suggestions and pictures are appreciatted.

The seats are out of a 07 Kenworth in great shape---the air supply issue I have planned for--but ideas on this are welcome as well.

These offshore runs I am doing are starting to jossle my bones and my dad at 87 said he was done fishing out there---untill now--these seats will keep him going out with me. My runs average 75 miles to 150 miles round trips in the Great Northwest!!

Thanks

I don't have any ideas for you, but I know the NC Wildlife Officers have air ride seats in their boats, you might could do a search on them for ideas.

Randleman,

Ya think searching the NC wildlife website or where??? Just asking.

I will be looking at mounting options on a couple of my friends tin can boats.

They were mounted in the McKee Craft boats that they had a few years back, I really havent paid attention if they still use them.

Here is a pic of the boats they were in, but I haven't found a pic of just the seat yet.

You may contact McKee Craft, I'm sure they have info they could send you.

Welcome to the site!

Yeah, thats the ones.

I figured they would be high dollar for the state to be buying them.

I did not know McKee was belly up......bummer.

Yeah it's ashamed they went under but in financial times it's been a struggle to stay afloat and keep the toy's to boot.

Here are more photos of those seats

Nice find---I have saved the pictures. I am still waiting for the seats to show up on my porch for install.

That will work in my idea of mounting too!! I can do that !!!

Thanks:clap:

Seat 1 has shown up--finally--

mount for the seat is easy--just screw to the floor like a captians seat--just weld a bit wider plate to the base of the factory mount used in the truck.

To figure out what to do with the other 2 seats? Side mount them or just mount behind the air ride seats on a box?

I will post pictures soon.

Just finished putting a radar mount on the boat---came out nice--about $1200 with 4 pole holders included with radar mount and 2 flat mounts on top.

Also putting hyd steering on her as well--lots of projects to get done in less than a month to be ready for the Halibut opener off the coast!!
