I'am really happy with the way the V performed. She sits nice and high, she gets on plane effortlessly.:love:

I went ahead and had engine rebuilt. Since we had powerhead off, I put the new cowls on, really updated the boat. Im gonna keep the 135 decals on even though there are at least 207 horses under the hood...maybe I can shake the rope at somebody!!

Dont have any performance #s yet - running double oil and breaking it in

I love the way this boat runs. I've owned 2 Makos in the past 20 years, but I gotta tell you, this V is the sweetest running boat I've ever owned. She instantly jumps on plane, she eats the chop for breakfast, turns on a dime! I had some reservations about defecting from Mako, but they have disappeared!! Tomorrow is my early Friday off, so I hope to get out for a couple hours, then ALL day Sunday!

Nice. Trying to sneak out tomorrow to the cbbt myself, and like you all day Sunday. tryin to catch some of them rocks.

Thanks again guys! Ive been having a ball with the V every weekend. Finally got her broke in and was able to open her up. Held her WOT for maybe 20-30 secs, motor trimmed I saw 50.9 mph on the GPS. My engine builder says that will improve once I burn all this double-oil gas.....VERY HAPPY!:clap:
