I Detect A Visitor From Afar....Hmmmm
 

A strange premonition is coming to me...a visitor from the South...no, originally from the North of me...he looks for meat and is wearing a shirt known to all here...

MEAT!!..RIBS..CHICKEN..PULLED PORK...BEEF HASH!!...and LOTS of it!!...MEAT!!...

...and there's PLENTY for you too, Law Dog!!...LOL!!...:sun:

While I was on my August tour of the east coast, I, in my offical capacity as Grand Pubah of the Norton Snaggers Fishing Club, stopped in at the best BBQ joint around. I was made aware that the proprietor of this fine establishment had sent word to the most interesting law enforcement officer in the world to put out APB (all Pubah Bulletin) on yours truley. I proceeded with much haste to this fine establishment to consume large quantaties of awesome pit cooked BBQ, fresh cut fries and terrific hushpuppies. I have attached a few images, although I am disappointed that the "bean counter" was unabl to operate my camera and catch me and Ozzie together in a pic, proving my where abouts!

I had an awesome time visiting my man Ozzie in the thriving metropolis of Cowpens SC. For you guys that don't know, they fought a battle there that was the turning point of the Revolutionary War, first battle won by the patriots. It is also the namesake of the first US Navy ship my dad was on, the USS Cowpens. We had a great time hanging out together, the folks were wonderful and the food was/is awesome. Momma Pubah has been keeping me busy since I got home.

Busy huh, is that what they call it these days Dawg:beer:

All this talk about B-B-Q had me :drool: Mentioned it to mama CB so she cooked me up a rack 'o baby backs. I know it's early, but with my work schedule I usually eat lunch around mid-morning. They smelled so good, I couldn't resist anyways and who knows when I'll be able to get to Cowpens, SC.:sad:

The Dogfish 60 minute IPA is one of my favorites. That one in the pic is a 90 minute (much higher alcohol content) and actually not quite as enjoyable as the 60 minute version.
