Give your best estimate!

I havn't done any mods or upgrades to the V20 in a long time and I wanted it that way. I have the boat where I want it and want to spend as much time fishing as I can. But, I cant get this picture out of my head of this V20 conversion from side to center console that I saw on here a while back. Anybody remember that or have the link?

Don't get me wrong the V20 does well offshore but I forgot how much I like a center vs a side console. I ran a Parker last weekend and sure did enjoy it running all day offshore.

Any body want to give an estimate on a basic conversion? Just rerouting the stearing on a console and a little rewiring??????

Whatcha think?

Are you talking converting a cuddy to a cc? Will you leave the cuddy intact and just mount a CC behind it or what?

Yes, put a small console(no t top)and move everything to it. Keep the cuddy, remove the windshield.

I would love to use the well up front as a new battery hole and clean up the wiring a bit. Sure would make access easier.

Interesting idea. I think I remember the one you are talking about. I wish somebody would find that link!

cterrebonne was the member that did this to his cuddy, but I couldn't find any of his pics left in his posts.

Now thats what i am talking about ..Thinking outside the box ..The CC looks great ....I would love to see someone open up the bow/cutty for even more space... Keep the ideas coming...

phatdaddy 08-16-2010 05:57 PM

i think he was selling it at one time, don't know if it sold or not

Good job Tsub! I was hoping somebody would dig that up. I like the cuddy up there for dry storage. Ok FWB there you go...Lottsa potential to make a sweet looking one of a kind V20CenterCuddyConsole.

putting in a center console

I am in the process of doing this also. I had to cut out the cuddy because it was rotten. I have a i/o so getting the most room is my biggest concern. Will post some pics soon.
