Willy's V20 Cuddy for sale

Listen as most of you know I decided to move up in size and to a CC.
My V is therefore for sale. I am asking 4500.00 for it.
The transom, the floors cuddy roof and hull are as solid as they come. There are no thru hulls anywhere on this boat, none. Self bailing newer style floor which is about an inch and a half higher than the earlier hulls.
Installed last year a Lowrance LCXC shown in the pic, almost 800 when new.
Installed this year very nice ICOM VHF tied into the DSC system with the GPS. New top of the line Shakespear Digital Antennae.
Dual battery system two years old.
It is a 1992 with a 1992 original Yamaha 150 which runs like a top, only have an estimate of 4-600 hours on her.
It comes with a dual axle trailer that I believe is of the same vintage, it has corrosion on the lugs and u-bolts etc It actually tows very nice, has brakes but they are not functional. I had a spare but someone swiped it, so keep that in mind. New LED lights installed this year on trailer.
Has engine cover and bimini top. Has full cockpit cover but it is getting pretty tired.

Oh yea it has a bench seat, pretty heavy duty custom built for the previous owner but it needs cushion work done.

dam willy, that is one bad a$$. boats pretty hot, too.

Blue_Runner 07-28-2010 08:55 AM

Somebody is going to get a nice boat! My 2004 Yam 150 has about the same est. hours as that. Plenty of life left.

chumbucket 07-28-2010 09:21 AM

This has me wanting a V again.

nipper 07-28-2010 09:43 AM

Looks nice Willy. Do you suppose previous owner custom ordered the boat from Wellcraft without the rod holders? I have never seen a V without them.

chumbucket 07-28-2010 10:12 AM

Nipper, it has rod holders. I think willy's talking about below the waterline through hull fittings.

csvencer 07-28-2010 10:25 AM

Nipper you are right, no rod boxes in the sides...never seen that before. I like the clean look.

chumbucket 07-28-2010 10:48 AM

Ohhhhh. Rod boxes. Yeah, the ones that always break. That right there is a clean slate to install better than the factory used. :hi:

Those pics are from when I brought her home two seasons ago, except the pic of the Lowrance, I didn't have any current other than some fishing shots.
I have added two additional rod holders on her. Removed the crapy fold down seat which had rusted underneath the seat and stained the deck. I pulled the screws and filled with 5200 and now put a large cushioned Igloo in that spot with the mounting tabs installed in the deck.
Seats two nicely and hid those stains plus gave me good cold fish and food storage.
I will get more pics as soon as I can.
A couple of guys asked me to PM them shots, rather than doing that I will post all right here that way everyone can see.

I'll give ya a gallon of Jack Daniels, a box of cigars, and I'll burn the pictures I have of you with the Florida State Universuty Cheerleading squad at the Holiday Inn, but you gotta deliver the boat to Florida......

willy 07-28-2010 06:24 PM

First of all, that is my gallon of Jack Daniels, supposed to be in the bottom cabinet on the right hand side as you walk in the kitchen.
Second of all, unless you have as Arlo says 8x10 color glossies with names and dates on the back you got squatzola.
Third there may be an Old Geezer from just north of you who may also object to these so called fictional images.
So despite your connections in "this thing of ours" I will have to pass on your offer, as tempting as it was.

Franco 07-29-2010 08:59 PM

Picked it up the other day, wanna thank Willy for a nice boat, his hospitality, and working with me in every way possible, well kept, just a quick buff, little cleaning and went fishing today. Impressed, love this hull! Good luck Willy with your new boat!

willy 08-13-2010 07:53 AM

Glad that old trailer made it home for you Louie. Good luck with her, she is a great fishing boat and should serve you well.
