No mention of the metal plate on the transom ??? It could be that the transom was like Airslots boat and he wanted a 25" shaft so he raised it with the metal plate. I don't know ???

No Hammer, you're right...there's a plate there, but even if transom is bad and ya gotta get it fixed, this'll be worth it...somebody at least oughtta check this out ;) ...of course that's assumin' motor is tight, etc...this one looked good to me...

I spoke to the guy, There is a plate, but only because of the shaft lenght of his motor. The transom is solid he says.

Nice looking rig and a very fair price. If anybody was looking for one that didn't need much, if any work, this one's gotta be worth looking at.

How many hours and what condition is that merc.? It looks clean to me. If in good shape I would run that puppy until it had enough, unless you want to put the shorty suzzy on it.
