Re: STARBOARD

Well I bought a hole sheet of 3/4 X 54" X 96" for $171

But that was Seaboard and is much cheaper then King Starboard.

That piece is the perfect Pulpit and you could make 2 from it just like mine! (mine is two 3/4 bolted toghter for 1 1/2)

Waren is looking to make one also, he emailed me for size, I don't know if he has any yet, but maybe you guys can split it??

That be $47 each?

Re: STARBOARD

I know it won't work for a pulpit, but if you need a small piece of 1/4, you can get a cutting board @ Walmart CHEEP!

Re: STARBOARD

Hey Warner, check your emails. Spoke to the guy and is willing to accept payment from the two of us and cut it as well, 11 3/4 by 24" for the both of us.
Let me know if you still wanna do this deal or not.
Hammer.

All:

Look around at starboard prices. Everyone’s prices dramatically increases once thickness goes over 3/4 inches. I really don't think it s that bad of a price for that piece! I have worked with Norva plastics in the past and have had very good experiences with them on multiple occasions.

You know what they say: "If going to run with the big dogs you got to learn to pee in the tall grass"

Re: STARBOARD

Airslot and Warner, Gotta bail on the starboard for this month. As I posted on the other thread, my damm tilt trim motor is back to acting up. Need the motor before the starboard. Let let me hold ya back from getting it. The guy has been posting the starboard on E-Bay for a long time.

Re: STARBOARD

Re: STARBOARD

Actually the guy just called me. Super nice guy. Told him I had to hold off. He's willing to cut and make anything for ya guys. All he ask for in return is that if you post pics. refer him in his postings to help with his business.
He's made platforms for alot of boston whalers on some boston whaler site he said.
So again, I'll grab something maybe next month, but this will be the guy I'll deal with. He's cool. ;)

Re: STARBOARD

Air,
Live in a bedroom comunity just outside of Augusta,Ga. E-mailed the guy,Howard Everton, his reply stated that for $48.50, Hammer's price, he ship to me a piece 1 1/2"x 11 3/4" x48. Having him make the pulpit sounds good. However, not sure exactely what design I want.

msbhammer 04-01-2007 04:30 PM

Re: STARBOARD

Check your measurements. For that price, he agreed to send me a piece at only 11 3/4 x 23 3/4 not 48.

macojoe 04-01-2007 10:36 PM

Airslot 04-05-2007 02:20 PM

Re: STARBOARD

No, I was only in it to help Hammer out. I could pick it up from him easy. I'm not a huge fan of buying stuff online, was gonna buy him lunch for his troubles. When the time is right, my pulpit will happen. ;D
