Proud, seems like a little word

Does not quite rise to the feeling.

Well after four years, son number one, Willy as I call him graduated from Penn State yesterday with his BS in Finance and second major of Economics. 3.82 GPA and Deans list each semester from the first one on.
In spite of my numerous faults, apparently I can do somethings right, he has turned into a real good man. The CEO and I are extremely proud

My friends Bill "Willy" Schultz

Sounds like he figured out what he wanted to do early on and stuck with it. My problem was I didn't know what I wanted to do so it took extra time to finally figure it out. It was ok once I got on the right track but by then I was married, working full time, building a house and going to college (full load) at night. Not much to love there, so when the time came and I grad-jee-eighted I never looked back and swore off school for good!

I did meet Mrs. Blue in college so all was not lost

willy 05-19-2009 06:20 PM

sounds like you had the work ethic for sure Blue and the good judgement to find Mrs. Blue.
Well done

Great job Willy and family....have not posted until now because my kids going to college scares the bejeezus out of me.....what is it? 2 more to go?

willy 05-21-2009 06:06 AM

number two starts University of Delaware in Sept. Then two more after her.
I am going down in financial flames that is for sure

Blue_Runner 05-21-2009 08:20 AM

All that reproducing you did 20 years ago is catching up with you big time! :fam:

tsubaki 05-21-2009 08:28 AM

That's the epitome of having bright children, .......... spending their inheritance on their education.
My cousin is in Afghanistan this year in hopes to catch up on his 2.
