Trim Tab Size

I just did a quick search and found a bunch of tab threads but not a single one talks about what size everyone is installing. Are you guys going with the 10x12 or the 9x12 or even the 8x10 Bennett's? Reel - What size where the ones you just put in? I am interested to see if I could get by with the 8x10 M80 Bennett's they have but not sure it will be enough tab. Any thoughts...

How much tab are you using to get the bow to come down? Are you just tapping the controls or are you using a good portion of the range of motion on them? Trying to get an idea on how much tab I need.

Also for anyone that has a swim platform check out the QL's that won't interfere with the platform.

I've never actually looked to see how far down they were. I can say that I've never "run out" of tab, I thnk REEL just put M120's on his. Unless you already have smaller tabs on hand, the 120's are the "right" size for a V....

once we left and headed back out it had laid down...but the wife wanted to head back towards rescue and eat dinner at chuck-a-mucks...a resteraunt on the water, so i said ok and headed back..but it was a much nicer ride back running about 32mph back.. nothing exciting..lol

Chuck-a-mucks, nice. We hit there about a month ago, good food. If you haven't hit (and I am sure you have) hit up smithfield station. They have a nice dock and good food.

My tabs actually measure 8 x 12 ...and I believe they'll be ample for this size boat..if I can ever get 'em to water and try 'em out

FINALLY installed my lenco tabs over the weekend and tried them out yesterday, and i can't see how anybody can have a boat without them. they make a HUGE difference in ride quality. absolutely love them.. will see if i can get some pics up here shortly

hopefully the pics are here. not much room on the V21 with the outboard bracket and my swim step. would have been nice to get them further down the hull, but they do make a impressive difference even where they are here.
