Herzlich willkommen in unser Forum.

Franco

Welcome to WellcraftV20.com. Your boat looks very nice. I have a question on your trailer. Is it required there that the tail lights extend past the motor? Again Welcome and your great for posting pictures right away. Billy Mac

And do they swing out of the way or able to be removed so you can launch the boat without getting hung up on them?

seatrouthunter 03-06-2009 03:33 AM

Hi all,

thanks for your warm welcome!

I will use the boat for fishing in the baltic sea on cod, seatrout and salmon(trolling),
and of course for family trips here on the river Elbe and in summer holidays on the Lake Garda in Italy.

For fishing I will add some downriggers and a trolling motor like 9,9 HP fourstroke Yamaha

The back lights on the trailer are needed here in Germany, you can remove the complete bar when slipping the boat in the water.

Thanks again,
Joachim

Just curious. What do you pay for gas over there in Germany?

Wow, welcome to the site.

It is a small world, I was just in Hamburg and Wolfsburg right before Christmas,
and here are some pictures to prove it.

Oh yeah I was bummed, I only hit 130 mph (210 kph) in the Mercedes,
people pulled in front of me.

seatrouthunter 03-08-2009 05:36 AM

The actual gas prices are 1,15 Euro per liter wich is
approx 5,50 USD per gallon.
Last year in summer the have been up to more than 7USD per gallon.

Mac_Attack 03-08-2009 07:55 AM

How much of that cost is taxes? Billy Mac

I had the 9.9 4 stroke Yamaha, it is smooth and quiet. It will probably be important for trolling at the gas prices in Germany. Our gas prices have recenty fell to as low as $1.34 but are now back up near $1.80 per gallon for regular. I tried to use my 9.9 for trolling, but could only get 5 knots before being near WOT. Seems the fish always wanted 6-7 knots.....

Nice looking boat and my wifes mother is from Germany and her two brothers still live there but I'm not sure where. I also have a question. Did you trim that tree so you could sit up stairs and admire your new boat.

Welcome Joachim

I am the great great grandson of Joachim Shultz from the Hamburg area I believe originally who came to Michigan USA in the 1860's.

We spell it differently now (Schultz) but have the same heart, enjoy that pretty boat, good luck with her.
