hard to tell with the drifting...my guess is about 7" or 8" so far.

The news says we got 3" but I measured 5" this morning cleaning off the car.

We were scheduled to see some late last night but it never got below 41degrees.

I feel sorry for ya'll. We're getting into the 20's tonight, but it'll probably be in the 60's in the afternoon. You shouldn't be shoveling snow, but dewinterizing boats. Hang in there, spring's coming soon.

We got ripped off! It started snowing lightly about 3:30 this morning and snowed off and on all day. The wind must have blown it all away. We only got a dusting on the ground. The wind blew like crazy when the cold front came threw. The mill gave us a day off for market downtime,so I hung around the house and watched it snow. The temp never got above 30 degrees all day.

Well the snow blowers are going, but south and north got the most, CB cleared it twice and I once. 4 to 6 is what we got.
CB is on the way to work, I finished the remodel and going to steam clean the rugs tonight. Going to start moving back into the rooms tomorrow. |
No. shore Long Island, on average, either side of a foot. A true 13" in my yard. The roads are already mud/dirt/salt/slush. Yuk. C'mon spring!

Lows in the teens last two nights, highs in the 30's, snow on the ground for 3 days......Where am I and what month is it?

6:30 am, just check the t-mometer = 0.7 deg F, was -2.0 F yesterday. When it gets to the mid 30's we call that spring!

The snow does get real old after a while, but it sure makes one appreciate the arrival of spring and another boating season.

So last Sunday night we got 6" of snow and it got down to 12 deg Monday night and 16 deg Tuesday night......today it is 81.
If you don't like the weather in NC, wait a couple hours, it will change. |
