1968 19' Wellcraft/Manatee for Sale
I just bought another boat and need to get rid of one fast.
http://www.kci2.com/big/2.jpg http://www.kci2.com/big/3.jpg It's a 1968 Wellcraft but I believe it is a from a Manatee design. It has fresh water cooled Volvo AQ125A with a 280 drive. Has power tilt and trim (better than the electric tilt that is standard) and also has hydraulic trim tabs. Has 3 props, one is a NOS stainless that I just paid $150 for. Engine runs and is dependable. Just installed a Pertronix ignition and coil ($100+) which means NO POINTS. It has a slight hesitation off of idle which I suspect is an accelerator pump adjustment. Have Seloc manual for engine/drive. She is on a 2001 very solid American trailer with hydraulic brakes, however the steel brake lines need to be replaced. I was going to refinish a section of the hull that had some paint damage so it has an aft quarter of the hull that has been sanded to bare fiberglass. Hull, transom and floors are solid. I can demo boat in water and will deliver within a reasonable distance. At $1100 it's a cheap starter boat that needs some work but you can still it use right away. Steve P. |

Whoops... boat is in Central Mass. , Worcester area. Forgot to mention comes witha decent Humminbird B/W fishfinder, two batteries, anchor. New timing belt and tensioner, recent oil change. The engine and drive are 1985. Most of the engine parts can come from the auto parts store, just tell 'em its for a 1985 Volvo 240 Sedan. I beleive that it is generally classified as a 19'.

The 250 already has tabs...
http://www.kci2.com/new/014.jpg http://www.kci2.com/new/029.jpg They are not as big as the tabs on the 19' but they should do the trick. |

On the question of whether or not Stinky is harmless...I would say it's more locations separated by many miles that'll keep your daughter's toes from falling to his toe fetish ;) ... ;D ... |

There is one of those locally, and it caught my eye because it looked similar to a V20. Were they actually built by Wellcraft? |
Re: 1968 19' Wellcraft/Manatee for Sale
CMJones,
The big Wellcraft decals on mine are obviously aftermarket but there are two smaller faded decals on the cabin that are original as far as I can tell. So, I do believe it was built by Wellcraft. But I have seen the same exact hull with Manatee emblems on the hull. Some of the Manatees had different topsides on them and looked more modern. |
