Bought an RV
After casually looking for a year and serious searching for the last month, I bought an RV.
It's a 1999 Winnebago Adveturer 32ft. The guy I got it from makes Lumber Slinger look like a slob when it comes to keeping something clean, this thing looks like it is NEW! Here are a few pics from the ad. I won't go pick it up til Thursday. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...33cad9a215.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...34b3fd2a12.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...088c091018.jpg The plan is to take a trip to the west coast this summer, I have already put in for a month off and the wife and kids are all out of school all summer. It should be a blast. |
man thats awesome. Congratulations and good look with it. You got the land and sea covered....now you just need an airplane.
Hey can you tow the boat with that? Probably not but you'd be 52' of fun rolling down the highway |
That is the way to travel! Last spring I went on a fishing charter down in Ohio. We traveled by RV and it sure beat traveling in a car. Good Luck on your trip! Billy Mac

Very very nice, always thought about it but never had the nuts to pull the trigger. Always afraid I would never get to use it enough to justify the $$. Good luck with it, you guys will have a blast.

Well Dam, that is a beast of a vehicle.....Enjoy.....:sun:

very nice. 22.5's or 19.5's rims?
|
Sure you can tow a boat...backin' it down a ramp might be a learning experience...
Hey RB...is that why you lookin' to upgrade yer trailer?...sounds like big plans!! |
man i wished i had known you were looking you could have bought mine. I never use it anymore. Mines a 1998 Pace Arrow 35'. I hope you enjoy it we sure used ours alot but now it just sits in the garage.

The thing drives like a car, I think I can get the boat backed in, at least at a BIG ramp. There may be a FLA trip floating around the back of my mind. |

I knew you had one but figured you were still using it, oh well, this one seems to be perfect for us. Big enough yet not too huge. |

The guy I got it from towed his drag car to the races with it, I'm sure that rig was bigger than pulling a V. I am planning on pulling it. I once mentioned an airplane/learning to fly to my wife, she gave me THE look. Haven't thought about it since. |
I wonder why I cant be drawn to hobbies like seeing how many dollars I can get in a bank account instead of these money eaters?

congrats rm there alot of fun I had a 32 ft terry and nuttin but good times with it. post up some pics when you get it home.. |
Don't look at it as MPG, look at it as memories!!
Now you need a tow vehicle and/or boat!! |
Congrats brother, always wanted to do it also, my family grew up using a tow behind and camping in remote places and state campgrounds. Always wanted one so I could take more than a canoe.
Good luck with it, good friend of mine who just retired in 2008 came on with me has been tripping with those big boys for years and loves it. Enjoy:clap: |
Well, its sitting in the driveway, glad I got a 32 footer, a 33 wouldn't fit. I plan on moving the trampoline and swing set to make a better place for it to sit.
We are SO excited about the possibilities for family fun. My middle kid wouldn't do her homework until I got it backed in because she wanted to sit in the RV while she did her homework. |
well done brother:clap:

don't think of it as miles per gallon
it's Smiles per gallon if it will make a teenager do homework, i need one....... |
