Skool's is buying to many boats

well guys Merry Late Christmas and Happy Early New Year

Well tomorrow i'm heading to pick up another project i couldn't turn down i came to buy a 20' Chris Craft that was repowered with a new 305 Merc and it has closed cooling, i had that guy to $500 but it has no trailer then i found a 1995 Sylvan Deck boat 21' with Merc 150 OB and 1999 Aluminum Tandem trailer for $300 so you know what i bought. I still may buy and strip the Chris Craft. Will get pics once i get it home.

THEFERMANATOR 12-28-2008 02:51 PM

You could always come down to FLORIDA and take some of my collection.

phatdaddy 12-28-2008 05:45 PM

first mj got a merc,
now schools...............

welcome to the club!!

Skools Out 12-28-2008 06:26 PM

don't worry i'm taking it off and putting an Evinrude 140 i have on and selling the Merc 150 on ebay with controls and all gauges this spring. I figure that a Merc 150 with all that running should be worth $500. on Flea Bay

randlemanboater 01-01-2009 12:20 PM

Hey SKOOLZ quit buying boats and find me a deal on a trailer will ya?

I thought your trailer was in pretty good shape...but that's been how long ago since I saw it?...

randlemanboater 01-01-2009 12:53 PM

The frame is in good shape, the springs, axles, wheels, bolts, and mounting hardware are rusted to the point of failure.

Skools Out 02-10-2009 09:01 PM

Here's a pic of the Deck boat currently

Skools, just go ahead and torch that thing. You have way too much work on your hands with that one.

eight 02-11-2009 09:09 AM

They paid you $300 to take that thing? I think they got the better end of the deal. :you:

cterrebonne 02-11-2009 09:17 AM

yeap that what i'm doing it was complete and running with i bought it. i stripped it down and had a couple soft spots so i just figured i'd replace the whole floor and it will be good to go for several more yrs. i know the newer guys here have no faith but they haven't seen my work right.

nipper 02-11-2009 11:13 AM

I was just kidding Skools. I have seen your work, and it is incredible. I am sure you will have that deck boat back in the water and looking pretty in no time. Good luck with her.

ol no biggy i'm redoing this boat for my dad he likes the deck boats but i hate them. i had a new center console laying in the yard so i'm going to make it 23' long CC Deck boat. i'm going to add 2 ft to the transom. this should be a fun project.

phester 02-11-2009 08:42 PM

hey Skools, stop screwin around w/ all these other boats you've got and get going on that V. We all want to see a mint cond refurbished boat w/ a bad azz 225 OMC on the back!!

willy 02-11-2009 09:32 PM

Very cool project. After I'm done with my v20 I'm gonna be starting my 20 ft pontooner. Is the cooler gonna be removable or permenant?
