Hey Jersey guys, need a surveyor.
 

Back from paid vacation to Florida, man I love Virginia! No offense to Fla folks - just the part I saw wasn't too spectacular. It was hot, smokin, and harrowing (especially having to keep one eye on the gators while I filled the engine back up with water each time!)

I've recovered and the wheels are turning now... Does anyone know of a good surveyor in the Cape May, NJ area. I was hoping Lumber or someone had a friend they could refer me to. Thanks a million!!! By the way, I can't say what I'm thinkin right now but I promise to post a complete thread with pics if it comes to fruition.

Ferm: Don't misunderstand, the people were great...not a big fan of the moccasins, coral snakes, and gators in my way at times. I was in the Okie swamp (dried up) just north of Lake City on the Bugaboo fire. I put about 1100 miles on one of our brand new engines in deep sand and low range 4WD! :o Several places in Florida I really like though...

Glad ya made it back safe and sound, Fire ...ya need to visit FL some time on a non-workin' trip somewhere near the coast (pik one) ... good job dodgin' all the FL critters ...bet ya'll glad to see that RAIN come thru ;) ...

Air, you betcha! I'll PM ya when I make plans to head that way!!! What do pre-purchase surveys go for roughly?

Reel, thanks - reely happy for the folks down there to get the rain too as they have been through alot. The OPS Chief told us when our team arrived that "this thing has been kickin' our a$$ for 9 straight days now..." among other descriptions. I'm glad for them that it's winding down so they can get some sleep and catch up on fishing, gator hunting, eating shrimp, etc.

Last survey I had done was about 16 years ago and was $10 a ft / have no idea what the current rates are, sorry...
