I know we went over this but......
anybody here have an avalanche?
avalanche experience? like the avalanche? hate the avalanche? i know maco, hate the avalanche. |
Don't tell me this is a new vehicle for the wife's new GPS. Chuck, I think we're losing you. Snap out of it man.
|
Avalanche=truck designed by gays...:you:
|
My boss has an 02 and loved it since the day he got it. It now has like 150,000 miles on it. Never really had any real problems.
|
ok, 2 gay answers and one that makes sense.
anybody else? (except maco). |
I'm sure they're fine vehicles. Personally, I don't like the styling at all.
|
the newest look the best thus far but i would want it with a duramax or at least the 2500 option.
|
guy across the street has one & loves it. his has the 6.0 and he said its not too good on gas. it would probably be a good compromise if you need a truck 20% & a SUV 80%.
|
I would stay away from the 6.0, they LOVE the gas. (about 12 mpg in a pickup)

You must be speaking of the GMC version. (Gay Man's Chevy) |
it seems plenty big enough for the fam.
it'll tow, and the wife finally found a truck she likes. i'll probably end up driving the minivan. and i think its pretty. |

All I know is the older ones with all that plastic cladding on them were about the butt ugliest vehicles ever made.
|
Get a real mans truck! Them trucks are about as ugly as they can get!! All that plastic serves no purpose!
I have the EXT Cab pickup and there is 4 of us, with the 4 doors we all fit in there and are fine. Got a little tight for my son as he is now 6'3 90! But he has his own car now and if he goes some were with us he sits in the front and his mother gets in the back! I have the 1500 w/ 4.8 V8 and I tow with no problems, I get 14 to 15 MPG. My brother has the 2500 with the 6.0 and says he gets like 10 or 11 MPG One thing about the 1500. the rear was a but soft and I had issues with towing my camper (30 footer) as the truck sagged in the back. I just went to the bone yard and bought some 2500 rear springs and replaced my 1500 springs, the result was a 2" lift and i tow Boat, camper with very little to no sag now. Also cranked the T Bars some to level the truck. And so far its been a great truck for me! I got it with 63,000 miles. Has 130,000 on it now after 3 years, all I have done to it till July was Tires, Brakes, power window motor, and just now the fuel pump let go. Good Luck |
He did get a real mans truck to drive...............................the minivan
