1991 V-20 For Sale
5 Attachment(s)
I have a 1991 V-20 Steplift that I purchased new and have kept the boat in as new condition. The seats are new 2 years ago, the bimini top is new this year with a stainless frame, the engine was replaced in 2002 with a 200hp HPDI Yamaha, the fiberglass and gelcoat including the bottom of the boat is maintained as new with no scratches and shines as new. The boat comes with a full cover. The boat has been under cover since new. The rubrail was new a couple of years ago, the fish rod panels were new last year and were awlgripped so they don't deteriorate. The gauges are new this last year. I originally paid $22000.00 for the boat with a 1992 200hp yamaha when new. In 2002 I paid $11,000.00 for the new motor. I've spent at least another $10-20K over the years maintaining the boat as new. I'm asking $15,000.00 as a starting point. Call and ask for john 772-633-1903 eves 321-952-1303 days email [email protected]

that's a nice boat...a little pricey, and no mention of a trailer....

It is sweet, and it has been posted on here before with the exact same comment, I believe he lowered the price now.

It has been on yachtworld.*** for well over a 9 months. Nice looking boat though!

1991 V-20
Guys this is the boat I was going to pursue just before Reel found the 96 V-21 in his backyard....I think I even talked to the broker the boat was listed with down there in Fla. I had looked at several and I mean several V's before headin down to S.C. and this was definatley a finalist..........If Reel had'nt found the 21 I have now I most certainly would have this 20 parked in my barn, no doubt. Its a very clean rig, not cut up and kept original by the original owner.....price that engine and consider its condition and $15,000 is not so bad...just my 2 pennies :) Dave

Motor wort $5000 to $5500 by the Blue Book, Hull says $3500 to $4000 including trailer and motor, but that would be a 91 motor and trailer I am sure.
So take that the hull is perfect, and give the low $3500 w/trailer, and add $5500 for the motor you have $9000 So you have $6000 difference, add bimini and what else he has to offer and you have a good start to try to figure what you should pay. But she is a nice one!! Who ever gets it will be competition for Lumber as the best kept V20! |
sure is pretty.

I wish mine looked like that again. She is sweet. Price is too high, I agree $10,000-$12,000 would seem reasonable for an asking price.

Thanks for all the comments
Thanks for the all positive comments. Hopefully someone will come along interested in purchasing. I would keep the boat except that one of my neighbors complained that the cover over the top of the boat lift was ruining their view of the indian river and I then had a full cover made for the boat which is such a pain to take on and off that the boat never gets used. To maintain the gelcoat and interior on the boat it really needs to be covered all the time so, I'm going to replace it with a boat that requires less such as center console and most likely paint the entire boat with 2-part urethane which holds up better in the florida sun then the gelcoat.

A buddy of mine has neighbors like that. His backyard looks like what I would expect Skool's or Ferm's backyard to look like--bunch of old project boats, cars, campers etc. They complained it ruined their view of the marsh. He told them their view was his backyard and put up an 8-foot privacy fence, now they have no marsh view! :nut:

I dare anyone to complain about my yard!!
