There is a new Govenator in town
watched the Govenator of Alaska tonight give her speech, WOW
Thank you John McCain for Sara, well done  |
i also watched her speech.
she is intelligent, attractive and just a regular woman. she is breathing life into this campaign. she is also sassy. i like that. |
I saw her speech on the web and was impressed. She has given his campain a breathe of fresh air.
  |
Yes it does, she gives us another candidate we can question her experience. She's quite an orator, much like Obama, with her as VP or president we would get, CHANGE. Billy Mac
|
She is quite articulate and bright. She started off like many speakers being pretty nervous and really rushing her speech. After about 5 minutes, she shook her nervousness, took control, and really did a fine job. I am not as concerned about her as I was when it was first announced she would be the VP candidate. At first I thought she might doom McCain's campaign, but I think that wily fella may have fooled everyone with this pick.

Home Run!
|
She is awesome! LOVED IT! I bet she is pissin off some feminists!
|
I'd say she's got a good shot at prez if Mcain is elected.
:nut: |
I am lovin'it! She is going to be a great VP and she's smokin', don't mind watching her at all. :hide::love::beer:
Now let's think about 2012 election. Sarah vs. Hillary Ought to be a good one.............................. :fight: |
I was just thinking of who I want to vote for this election,
and I realized, I sway to the candidate that gives off the most comfortable vibe. Actually last election it was John Kerry and you know this election, for me anyway, Mccain and Palin are both giving off a very comforting vibe. |
i agree with parishht, until this happened, i was not real excited about either choice. i was voting against somebody, now i think i can finally vote for somebody
|
Been readin' this over...and here comes Oz w/his hand grenade...she 'bout had me...articulate, smart, GOOD lookin'...whadda package...and then I heard this directly from her mouth...
"...our fine young soldiers are being sent to Iraq by our leaders to do God's tasks"... Her own son is about to go to Iraq... Talk about DENIAL...wrong-minded motivation if ever I heard it...we invaded Iraq to do God's work? Do we really want to believe that what is going on in Iraq is somehow attributable to God?...that God started and approved and blesses our participation in what's going on over there?...Iraq is God's task?...I don't have the vocabulary to convey how many ways that is wrong...if that's the God she believes in, I don't want ANYTHING to do w/her or her God...and sure as hell don't want her anywhere near the White House, much less a probably short heartbeat from the presidency... Does God need the oil too?...enough for us to send our children to come home to us in a ZIPPER-BAG? |

I agree that there should always be a seperation of church and state,
just so she remembers that. The Iraq war probably would not have gone as long as it did, except for the fact that the terrorists saw an opportunity for a battle field. So in essence, you actually could see this as a religious war, now that the radical islamists have called this a jihad. Saddam had to go... that may have been God's task to protect the innocent people being terrorized by him. But then is "W" God???????????????????? |

not voting is a vote for osama and we certainly cant have that. you wont get behind everything a certain candidate is for but if you like 75% of what she says, then thems pretty good odds. |
WOW, CTT, where did that come from, are you sick with the flue or something??
Good comment, I agree completely. I believe the constitution was set up with numerous checks and balances. That is why we should not have Obama, he would sign any cockamamy bill that comes across his desk, just to apease his friends in the sneate and congress. I also think he would turn this country into a huge socialist state. |
I am a Democrat and I will be voting for McCain/Palin..............I think???
|
Obama isn't going to turn us into a socialist state. There are checks and balances. I swaying towards Obama because I,m in the working class and I want a working class in the future. This trickle down theory has dried up. Billy Mac :fight:
|
I'm not voting on what someone says they will or will not do...history will easily prove believing a politician(Dem or Rep)trying to get your vote is buying snake oil and swamp land...I'm voting based on what has been done...I don't know what we're gonna get, but I know what we've had...and here recently McCain's talkin' CHANGE like after all these years of votin' w/ and bein' one of the boys, he's gonna jump up and reform the system...ho hum...
Obammer nor nobody else will change this democracy of ours into a socialist state, cause too many people like you and me won't let him...but what he will do is give us a break after 8 long years of the moron:nut: |

But now aren't we talkin' about THEIR God?... |
