Pretty boat
 

Went to the boat sportsman show here in Jersey yesterday, saw a real nice boat, wonder if any of you fellows ever been on one. It's a 2007 Pioneer 197 Sportfish CC. T Top recessed rails, toe rails, the works. Really finished nice, along the line of the Scout boats, matter of fact the owner of Pioneer is the nephew of the owner of Scout. It has a Suzuki 4 stroke 150 hp and a dual axle aluminum trailer. Complete canvass enclosure and wings along with electronics box on top of the T top and T bag. Never saw so much room behind the combo seat/large baitwell/rod holder combo before in a boat this size.
I was impressed and wonder if the ride comes up to the construction?

willy where was the show??
I have tickets to the atlantic city show for feb 2 , I will be bringing my camera so watch out pics will be every where.... I will look and see if theres any pioneers there.....

I'm going to with a friend, not sure what day yet. It was the NJ Sportsman show at the Raritan expo ctr. Nice show, you should try to go next year if you can, hunting and fishing.

You have to be careful at those boat shows, the sales guy will get you checking out how nice the construction is inside various hatches and doors, and before you know it you are loopy from the new fiberglass fumes and have signed a 20 year loan on a $50K boat.

looked at them last yr they build a 21 as well nice boats i really like the hull design.

Yea I've been in that spiderweb before. I liked the boat though, had that thing opened up and looking inside and under with a flashlight. Yea I know, but I'm a cop, always have my little Streamlight with me.
Very nice, well layed out, could use some additional tackle storage which there s plenty of room for but other than putting electronics on it it is ready to go.
