Best way to get my V20 of trailer in garage?

Anyone know the best way to get my boat off its tailer while its in the garage?
Jacks?
some sort of hoist?
can it be supported by bow-eye?

I am sure someone here has done this before

Hi I have taken my boat off its trailer and it was a pain baselly what i did was jack the rear of the boat on the corners and supported it with cycnder blocks then i jacked up the front and moved the trailer up 2 or 3 feet, had to support the front with more blocks remove the jack and move the trailer another 2 or 3 feet i kept doing that till the trailer was out

From inside the garage, is there something STOUT enough to tie the boat off to?...if so, it'll be pretty easy...tie it off and pull the trailer about 4-6' out from under the boat...block that up using a tire on the blocks to contact the boat...pull some more and block that up...it needs some lateral support, but it's fairly easy to do...

I did the same way Bksah did it basically....lowered the trailer tongue as low as possible to get the *** end up as high as it would go....after I did that I measured the height and had a friend of mine that sells fire wood cut me to big 'ol 18" round logs to the right length and stuck one under each outside corner at the transom.....had 2 bottle jacks and some 6" x 6"'s and like Bksah said jacked up the front , pulled a few feet, put new jack in behind trailer support and alternated until it was out....took a little while but all in all pretty easy.

Skool's method requires no jackin...guess he saves that for another pastime...

lol yeah it's so easy i've taken so many on and off trailers now lol, my next trailer swap is the 250 sea ray and the 250 wellcraft. inside on concrete is easiest just wet the rollers or runners / bunks then jack in the center rear at the transom and support on the outter corners with jack stands with a block of wood like a peice of 2 x 4 to keep the stands from hurting the hull, once on the jack stands have it about 2 to 4 inches above the bunks or rollers then jack on the keel in the front center area just work the trailer out by hand little at a time, when the axles get to the jack then let the boat down on some more jack stand right at the end of the trailer and roll the trailer out by hand then just support the keel you are good to go.

unless you have open rafters then just pick the boat up by the bow eye with one come-along and lift the rear by a chain or lift strap and 1 come-along on the transom eyes or use 2 come-alongs on the 2 transom eyes.

Kinda gives new meaning to the question, "How's it hangin', Skools?"...:you:

hi i like the idea of hanging the boat but how strong are those lifting points on the boat will a fitted out boat less engine take the wait on a v20

Good question, esp with the I/O motor in the boat which makes the boat pretty heavy. I would also be worried about the beams of the garage.
