Armstrong Bracket
|
Re: Armstrong Bracket
Well - I'm no expert ..... but most people say the bracket should have a sealed cavity so it gives you some extra floatation to offset the extra weight hanging off the back of the transom. If you are willing to try it without the flotation and dont need the fanciest, newest looking bracket - then it would probably be a good deal at $200 or so. Sandblast the thing and put a good paint job on it - should look pretty decent.

Re: Armstrong Bracket
Looks nice. You could add flotation in the form of a foam block or an empty container designed to fit in the cavity.

Re: Armstrong Bracket
Just got out bid on it. Maybe I should tell them I know SKOOL, then maybe I'll get a good deal. ;D

Re: Armstrong Bracket
No floation, rated for 150 only, if you ever wanted to upgrade when you win some cash to a new 200 E-Tec, you have to do it over again.
I vote NAY |
Re: Armstrong Bracket
Man that is one UGLY bracket :P. :P

Re: Armstrong Bracket
lol first off i wouldn't waste the money for a new E-tec on an old 20 plus yr old boat. if i had that money i'd just buy a newer boat.
