Re: Specs

This is what the motor looks like after water pump, cleaning carbs, changing the fuel delivery and paint.

Re: Specs

And not pursuing the Mariner was a couple of other stories. Come to find out Fred had put 4 pistons in it back when he had it. The last guy that had it (who died) put two pistons in it. We got to worring about all these replaced (burned) pistons, plus the fact the starter was dragging, knowing the carbs are varnished and the water pump needs replacing, a linkage is broken and if all is right with the world maybe only repainting the motor will get me in the water, not to mention the trim wires were bare. Couldn't help it, I'm partial to OMC or BRP or who ever they are this week. ;) ;)

You need to put some flames on that motor, then it will be set.

Not that it has anything to do with this forum. Just got back from the emer vet. Two of my dogs had pinned a copperhead, so I killed it and threw it in the creek and checked the dogs. Well an hour later one was shaking a little. After looking at him closer surenuff he got bit. We've been living here over 24 years and have never seen a poisonous snake. Took him in, they treated him, 30 minutes and $228 less we back at the house. It never gets dull. Sorry no dead snake pictures or real good dog photo.

Maybe I need some of his drugs, the dog looks goofy.
My cousin three houses up found another one trying to greet him at his steps today.
As you can imagine we returned the welcome with a hoe across his back. ;D

Oh a couple of things not too terribly common we found removing the motor from the other boat.
The power source for the electric fuel pump was derived from the harness where it passed by the tank.
They intercepted the purple wire for constant hot when switched on.
