If you’ve very accurately accepted what the trump followers did at our Capitol on Jan 6, 2021 that’s honorable. As we all know people didn’t “ just get rowdy” there - they violently attacked our Capitol Police injuring many .

"SOME" people got rowdy. (Less that 4%) However the overwhelming majority of the people that demonstrated that day (Well over 20,000) did not turn violent. They demonstrated peacefully. As for injuries, I wonder how Ashi feels about that? We should ask her. Oh wait, we can't because she was murdered by one of those innocent Capital Policemen, even though she was unarmed and presented no threat.

So it’s your assertion that because “some” (a microscopically small percentage) of Trump’s followers said he told them to do it (though that statement is completely without basis in fact), and he didn’t intervene as quickly as me might have, he should be prosecuted and is a traitor.

By that reasoning, you would have to vigorously support the prosecution of members of congress and others who were funding bail for violent domestic terrorists (to get them quickly back on the streets) attacking and injuring police, citizens, businesses, public facilities, etc. all over the country, actively encouraging the lawlessness directly responsible for hundreds of murders and billions of dollars of damage.

Of course, it is funny that you think I made hypocritical posts since a hypocrite is someone that says one thing but does another. I think I've always been fairly consistent in my feelings and anything I've posted. I've always provided links to anything I've stated whenever asked to, unlike some people that just change the subject. And when have I ever slandered you? I may have called you names, but I've never accused you of anything illegal. I've never made a false and damaging statement about you.

As to me personally, how you feel about me is irrelevant to me. Unfortunately, I cannot say what I think about you since I'm sure it would involve a lot of name calling but to be sure it would not be complementary. In fact I think I have already accurately described how I feel about you in another post so there's no real need to repeat myself.

Might I point out one thing though. You seem to take everything said in this forum as a personal insult if anyone disagrees with you. While it is true that a lot of personal insults have been traded back and forth, I think you have missed the real object of this particular thread, which is to exchange ideas on political subjects. I don't really care what you think about me, as I'm sure you don't care what I think about you. And that's as it should be since this is not a popularity contest.

It is however, a forum to exchange political viewpoints and as soon as you cross the line and start making personal insults instead of valid points it weakens your entire stance. (and that includes everyone here) That includes repeating the same thing over and over ad nauseum.
