Shucks, Dave...why not just start yer own Harley Shop?...yer better stocked than most I've been in...:hide:

dmoore 09-25-2008 06:18 PM

You know Reel that was what I had originally hoped to do back in 99 when I left the service but you wouldn't believe the start up cost involved in such a venture. Nearest dealers are 1 1/2 hours north & south of me here on the shore. The current Harley contingent here now would certainly support a dealership without a doubt. D

Beautiful stuff Dave. You're a lucky man.
What kind of pipes are on the Sporty's? They look a bit different than most I've seen. I really like the Road King though.

Hey Chum.....they are Samson's Big Guns.....and they sound awsum! Gotem on both Sportys...The RK has Vance & Hines Big Shot Longs, 95" kit installed, Dyno tuned with a Power Commander ecu...it makes 90 ft. lbs of torque/85 h.p. An upgrade from the original 67 h.p.

Both Sportys are 2003 models,1200 Customs.... the black/silver one is pending sale...D

chumbucket 09-25-2008 10:39 PM

I thought they were Samsons, but wasn't sure.
I knew the RK had the V&H. I have the V&H Big Shot staggereds on my Softail Custom.
I squeezed 87 hp out of the original 80" motor. Running a Crane Cam, Dynatek adjustable ignition, rejetted carb, and Dyno tuned also.
I sure would like that RK though. :cen::love:
