Nice find Tin.

How'd the 'yota do pulling that? Any second thoughts about continuing to tow it with this truck? Just curious since that's one of my dilema's too. I've got an '04 X-tra Cab 4X4 Auto V6.

CB, just so you know I had your truck, best off road truck there is in my mind, and I towed a 5000 lbs camping trailer with it.
It should tow a loaded V20 no problem, especially if it has its own brakes. That was my only concern with it.

Did pretty well, better than I thought it would. On hills it's a pretty big strain. I was concerned about the tranny but it did fine. I think I will be fine towing locally, ramps are all fairly close to me. If you have a longer tow and hills it may be too much. I'm going to be installing a tranny cooler too. The trailer is awesome! Torsion suspension works great as do the disk brakes, stopping didn't even feel as there was a boat behind you!

;D I knew you couldn't resist a V20 Tin ;)

Did you do a sea trial on the V20? What about the Seacraft? Was the owner pissed?

Also, what was wrong with the Seacraft that the pictures didn't show ???

Not too many hills around here, so I guess I'd be okay.
I agree with the 4X4 capabilities willy. ;)
Towing that rig back from FL puts my mind at ease. Thanks bro.
Best of luck with the new boat. 8)

Way to go, Tin -- she looks great! 8) May you both be very happy for years to come.

All you fellow Yota owners, check out this website for any mods you have planned for your truck, as well as other fun stuff (I may have mentioned this before -- forgive me if it's a repost):

I own an old V-20 and an old Yota -- and I feel like a rich man! ;D

Nice recovery Tin! Travel 1000mi for one boat and come back with a very nice V20. I know you will enjoy the boat. Tell us the story on how you made the switch. Bill Mc ;D
