Hey guys, I think the consensus is that under 18 can join up if sponsored by a member and 18 and up need to join up - i.e. get a screen name.

Well, if the events of this morning are as bad as I suspect, I'll be out of the running on this tournament. I haven't seen it yet, but my Dad has told me he wiped out the lower unit on my tin boat this A.M. I haven't seen it yet. We'll see. Hopefully it's not as bad as he says it is. :'(
Don't even try to convince me to surfcast for a tournament. While I do enjoy it, I'm lucky to catch 1 for every 10 fish caught on the boat and they're always much smaller.

Well, like I said. I haven't seen it yet, but based on what he told me, it's toast. He said the skeg is broken off and it looks like the case is cracked. Prop is done too. Hopefully the gears and shafts are okay. If they are, I might be able to get by with a junk motor donor for the case only. I'm on the hunt. :-/

1990 Evinrude 60 hp. I may have found a donor 70 hp. Same case. Gonna take a look this weekend.

That sucks!! I know a guy in Chatam going out of biz. Maybe he has a lower unit for cheap??
