Don't give up on ebay MJ, I bid on mine with less than 1 minute left, could be someone waitting til the last seconds.

Re: Help MJ find his next boat

That's right MJ. Many people wait till the end to bid on items. Everybody wants to play their cards close, so that nobody knows what they're thinking or planning to do. The only problem with that approach is that sometimes reserves won't be met because not enough bidders bid to get it that high.

I don't mean to preach, but a Proverb that oftentimes gives me perspective on things like this says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6)."

One more: Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.

There is comfort to be found in knowing that these things are not in our control. Do the best you can to sell your boat and if it's the Lord's will, it will certainly happen. If not, there's a reason for it and perhaps we'll never know the reason.

Worst case scenario is that you end up with your trusty V and you try to sell her again later. At least you have your boat and she's in good running order.

Hang in there buddy.

You could get this one, and on your way home swing by SKOOLS place and talk him out of his 140's and be in business.

Here's a nice one right up your alley MJ, but he's a bit out of his mind on his price I think.

Re: Help MJ find his next boat

Thanks Therm!!

I am hooked on a Formula or Seacraft!! Thats all I am looking at now!

I love that one in Keylargo but man is that far away!!! I can't see me having enough time off work to go get it, and the price of shipping be $2K or better and I can find a motor for that!

That would break the bank and I have to wait a year or better before I could look for a motor. ???

well we will see what happens?
