Avoidance? Of what? I already gave my opinion of what I thought of the importance of McCarthy's supposed lie was. ZERO, nothing, nada, zip, it is of no importance. The only person it effects is McCarthy's possible future, whereas the people I mentioned and the lies they told effected the entire Country and besmirched the reputation of the President of the United States, all for purely political reasons with no justification.

The real avoidance is your lack of comment about the lies and the people I mentioned. You are avoiding the subject I presented.

McCarthy COULD have told the truth and said “yeh that’s how I felt at the time” but instead he attacked the NY TIMES report as total lie - until he got caught .
This man showed his lack of character and should therefore not become speaker of the House.
But he will — because this is the new Republican Party - where lying is supported .

Well, you may be the only one here unaware that you don’t post truth and facts, but, for the most part, biased opinion. The PBS article is a shining example.

Posting only negative, and biased, material about only the non-far left, is hypocritical and you ignoring of the real threats makes you irrelevant.

Scook calls me “ irrelevant “ yet he posts daily ,even many times a day in response to me.
And non stop personal insults .

There’s a big difference between commenting on you being off the rails and your arrogant, childish, clumsy attempts at insults. You could actually benefit from self examination, based on those comments.

McCarthy said “ he believed trump should resign” …..lied that he didn’t say so……then got caught when his own recorded words played back .

That’s what this threads about - it’s a fact , it’s the truth .

It certainly contains a LOT of what I just mentioned, and you could certainly benefit from some objective self examination.
