Isn’t that cute ……Trump lovers stick together through the lies and slander . |
Aren't high gas prices what Democrats have always wanted?
Here's Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) less than 6 months ago praising BP's CEO for pledging to reduce oil and gas production by 40% by 2030. https://docs.house.gov/meetings/GO/G...28.pdf#page=32 The 2022 midterm reckoning is coming. |
Praising reduced oil and gas production has been supported by democrats as:
1. Alternative energy solutions gain ground 2. Price of oil was much lower 6 months ago FACT is as stated - big oil loves these high prices and big oil is mostly REPUBLICAN . Global situation is currently different based on: 1. Huge demand snap back from the original COVID related massive drop off 2. War related supply issues 3. Big oil seizing on all this to blow out prices and make a fortune - ON US. Trump supports drilling everywhere - including on our most environmentally pure lands and waterways, the ocean, everywhere. He’s also very pro coal even though our usages have dropped and it’s an old filthy industry . Trump may win in 2024 and the EVIDENCE indicates it would be bad for America and Americans in many many ways . Be careful what you wish for — it goes far beyond pump prices . Sticking with the FACTS and the TRUTH is not only honorable…..it’s really pro American vs other countries that are run by dictators |
The last administration encouraged domestic energy production and US energy independence. What logically followed were lower energy prices and a burgeoning US economy.
The current administration (in its third non-consecutive term) and its party have discouraged and stymied domestic fossil fuel production as a way of artificially increasing energy costs to the consumer to encourage alternate so-called "green" energy for which the current infrastructure is not ready. So instead of our domestic producers being ready for the so-called "demand snap back" the current administration is going hat in hand begging for increased oil production from the very countries from whom we were weaning our dependence, countries whose methods are substantially less environmentally friendly than our own. Ironically, those were so concerned about domestic drilling aren't at all concerned about dirtier foreign drilling because the higher gas prices have played a substantial role in the highest inflation -- 8.5% -- since the 70s-80s. They're now grasping at straws in a desperate attempt to save their political careers, and worsening the polluting of the environment because of their inane policies. This is true and these are facts. And as an aside, there's this: https://miami.cbslocal.com/2020/09/0...outh-carolina/ but sure, Trump "supports drilling everywhere - including on our most environmentally pure lands and waterways, the ocean, everywhere." |
Yes - trumps ACTUAL environmental record was horrible as he tried to repeal about every protection in place, plus allow drilling where Americans continually vote AGAINST .
