Re: Teak treatment question

I heard you shouldnt Poly teak. *just oil. *I think the oils embedded in the teak eventually cause the Poly to flake off.

Visited real quick, just long enough to move the engine and

She was very glad to see me, I even thought I saw a smile across the bow.

Since it was a tee shirt day today, I decided to pull the rest of the teak off the V today, even with a A$$ kicking tooth acke :-[ Had no idea that the hatch rails were through bolted. Major pain to get off by yourself. >:(

Anybody know where I can get this black matting stuff at. Mine has a bunch of old drilled holes in it.

Hammer try masking tape on the fiberglass above the kick board before you varnish. This way you can let the varnish dry and then pull the tape. I think the varnish will be hard to get off the glass alone.

Hammer, your an animal. Go to Wallymart in the home section and get yourself some shelf liner. It's got a non skid texture and a little cushion to it. I used spray adhesive to put mine down and then trimmed w/ a razor blade. Came out great. I'll grab a pic tommorrow while I'm out on the ocean trying to better Turbo's monster fish. Oops...did I just say that ;D
