Re: Adding an axle to trailer

Hammer guess what my newest project is now? I bought another boat trailer today. it's a 30 ft boat trailer for $500, the frame is made of 6 inch Steel Channel :o the trailer is rated for 10000 lbs . I bought a pair of 5200 lb axles, springs, and all with electric brakes on both axles for $225. I'm going to make that 30 ft trailer into a tandem with two 5200 lb axles and the trailer will be 80" wide and yes a flat car hauler, but going to add a 2 ft dove tail. what ya think? lol
