Hammer, lenght is no longer an issue. By mounting the cleats on the side, I can use the longest anchor I can fine. All is well.

I think I would use this thingy and put the cleat sideways in the center if it will fit.

Or you could use one of the "rope guides" in this picture (on the right of the pic). Put the "guide on the pulpit and put one cleat on each side of the boat so that you could use them like cleats from standing on the dock.

I don't know......might be too spread out when you are anchoring.

Hammer, move the cleats back to straddling your middle bolt hole. *You don't want the pull from the rode being anymore sideways on the roller than neccesary, my opinion of course.

Otherwise, I love it. ;) Are those 8" cleats?

Sounds Good Air, will move them back to the middle hole. Yes, they are 8" cleats. Paid $12.95 for each. Good/bad, fair price ??, oh I wanted them. ;D
