Jan 6 Capitol Insurrection stands as the greatest violent insult and risk yo our democracy since the civil war.
Encouraged and abetted by the lying cheating con traitor trump.

CNN reports of possible reasons why White House phones used or not just a matter of fair reporting and changes nothing about that event - trumps deliberate negligence to stop it, and his sleezy lawyer Guilliani

Pipe_Dream 04-06-2022 06:15 PM

Again, you never acknowledge your mistakes. SAD.

bgreene 04-06-2022 11:45 PM

Mistake is that trumps not yet in prison for his role in the attack on our democracy

Pipe_Dream 04-07-2022 01:01 PM

Mistakes are that many plead guilty to avoid trials. Prediction is that more will go to trial with this news.

Judge Finds Man Not Guilty in First Jan. 6 Acquittal

The defendant, Matthew Martin, had claimed the police let him into the Capitol during last year***8217;s pro-Trump riot. The judge agreed.

A federal judge decided on Wednesday that a former government contractor from New Mexico who claimed that the police let him into the Capitol during last year***8217;s pro-Trump riot was not guilty of four petty offenses, the first acquittal connected to the sprawling investigation of the attack. Ruling in favor of the defense, Judge Trevor N. McFadden said he found it plausible that Mr. Martin believed the police had let him in and thus had not knowingly gone into the building improperly. Judge McFadden acquitted Mr. Martin of four misdemeanors: entering and remaining in a restricted building; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building; violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.

Not everything is black and white, as some would have you believe.

And to you that means more than what was ?

To you that means “ fire up the excuses “ for the violent mob that attacked our police, smashed their way into the Capitol making terroristic threats to kill our Vice President .

Ok so one guy got a pass for entering the Capitol that day .

Me- I stick with the overall TRUTH and FACTS about what occurred that day.

You just don't get it do you. The guy said the police LET HIM INTO THE BUILDING. Do you really think that just ONE guy was let into the building by the police? For once in your life actually THINK instead of just repeating your masters party line lies over and over.

.

Overall …….the violent attack on our Capitol perpetrated by trump supporters, many of whom pleaded guilty, many getting criminal sentences, many of whom said - trump told them to do it

Those that may seize on judge decision not to charge select attendees as EXCUSE for what occurred should :
1. watch the actual footage of our police being attacked
2. be ashamed to discredit what happened

Of course I know some people will choose excuses and select examples to try and cover up the truth about horrible historical events such as this .

You celebrate the mans acquittal by trump appointed judge.

MEANWHILE FACT IS The Capitol assault resulted in one of the worst days of injuries for law enforcement in the United States since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

About 140 officers — 73 from the Capitol Police and 65 from the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington — were injured, the departments have said.

They ranged from bruises and lacerations to more serious damage such as concussions, rib fractures, burns and even a mild heart attack.
