You and your $2 per gallon gas that means more to you than the sovereignty of our democracy

First, it's not about the $2 a gallon gas. It's about the extra $25 dollars a week that I spend to fill my tank up. That's an extra $100 a month or $1200 a year more out of my pocket and the pocket of everyone that drives a vehicle. It's about the needless millions of dollars that Biden's executive orders are now costing the American public.

Now, about that sovereignty of our democracy you typed.... WHAT? I believe you have two very different ideas mixed up. Sovereignty means something altogether different. Here, I'll explain ...

Imagine you just bought your own house. It's all yours and you can do whatever you want in it without the interference of others. You can pick out the furniture, draw pictures on the walls, and even throw a big party with your friends. Your house, your rules.

Other people cannot come into your house without your permission, or tell you what you can and can't do inside. This power that you have over your property is very similar to the concept of state sovereignty or country sovereignty in international relations.

Sovereignty is defined as the supreme authority within a territory. Sovereign states, or countries, are holders of sovereignty. Just like your neighbors cannot randomly enter your house, other countries cannot arbitrarily intrude in your country and meddle with its domestic affairs.

So you see, Sovereignty is not about Democracy. Democracy is how the rulers of the house govern themselves. Understand now?

As for handling the truth, as soon as you type something that is the truth I'll see if I can handle it.

It's your opinion, (well really it's the opinion of the rags that you read that you just parrot) that Trump is going to destroy our Democracy. Of course you have no real proof of that, but that's never stopped you before has it?

IF Trump runs again in 2024, and IF he wins the election we will see if your opinion is correct or not. Personally I highly doubt it will be, but there's always that possibility. Until then I personally will refrain from wild accusations with no basis in fact. You should do the same.

There you go again, being ol' Shifty. This post was about Biden getting us into a war. No Country was ever mentioned, Not Russia, Not China, Not Iran, Not anyone.
It's funny how you always shift to something different when you're exposed as not understanding what's really happening or when I postulate a response that is so airtight that you cannot answer it, so you shift to something different, like saying "This post is a claim war will break out with Russia". I try, I really do try, to mildly correct you, both in your ideas and in your grammar and sentence structure. But you just won't listen will you?

As for war breaking out, let's hope and pray it doesn't. Aside from the human death toll on both sides, the destruction might just spell the end of civilization as we know it.

The reason for all topics in this forum is to invite discussion. That means one person starts a thread, and other people can comment on it, either agreeing with or disagreeing with what has been written. Do you really believe that you just make a post and no one can comment on what you write? You cannot be that misinformed. But in case you are, reread what I just wrote. if you make a post, you should expect other people to comment on it.
