That’s called a LIE |
Greenie said that Trump called the Charlottesville white nationalists "very fine people."
That's called a LIE. Particularly when he persists in claiming it even when refuted with proof. I guess he really, really believes it. https://external-content.duckduckgo....jpg&f=1&nofb=1 |
Wrong as usual pipe - trump did call the white nationalists very fine people

Did you even bother to read the link you posted? Nowhere in it does Trump say that white nationalists were very fine people. Additionally, nowhere in it does it repeat the entire conversation. It just cherry picks a few lines, then spins them to make what he said the opposite of what he actually said. News anchors, pundits and their followers like yourself have repeated lies about Donald Trump and race so often that some of these narratives seem true, even to Americans who embrace the fruits of the president’s policies. The most pernicious and pervasive of these lies is the “Charlottesville Hoax,” the fake-news fabrication that he described the neo-Nazis who rallied in Charlottesville, Va., in August 2017 as “fine people. Trump’s “fine people on both sides” observation clearly related to those on both sides of the Confederate monument debate, and specifically excluded the violent supremacists. So, for your information and edification here are the unambiguous, actual words of President Trump, word for word: Quote “Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.” Unquote. Then President Trump became even more explicit, saying in his very next sentence: Quote: “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.” Unquote. While I'm sure that you will discount this post with some irrational comment or an attack on me again, you cannot change the truth. And the truth is you are (as usual) repeating a lie. You're promulgating a lie that's been spoon fed to you by the Democrat controlled national media. . |

Now that you have that out of your system, how about you actually answer the post OR admit that you were wrong and that you were just repeating a lie fed to you by the Democrat controlled mainstream media. . |
