Just an idea, and its also FREE. We can have it for back up or whatever. It doesnt have to be publicly open for comments, just publicly opened to be viewed. If you guys want me to start one let me know. It would just another way for everyone to keep in touch.

That sound like a good idea to me. I say open it up.

A couple of years ago I was on another boating forum and Reelapeelin suggested that i come over to visit the wellcraftv20 community. well, It's become part of my daily routine . It reminds me the things i have learned here boat related and otherwise. To say nothing of the fact that once a day someone is going to make me laugh here. I'm in ,what ever it takes

btw I can be found at iboats.com and the hull truth under the same screen name

So what are you saying?:bat: lol!!! Just an idea. My girlfriend is the internet manager at Priority Chevrolet so she works with social media all day long and builds website ads. Just thought it would be a free site to consolidate contact info and family/friends.

Here's my own buisness page I put on Facebook. I haven't used it since I shut my company down about 2 years ago.

Kracker, that's exactly the kind of back up site I had in mind. Please, if it's not too much trouble, could you open it for us? Thanks

I'm in

I'm in for a donation to help compensate those whose efforts make this site possible. Not interested in any kind of special access or recognition though. I like the open forum. I think we all have something to contribute and do so because we enjoy being at part of this community. I say those that can should donate anonymosly and we will all continue to enjoy the site.

I believe MJ said there is no cost because its a donated/volunteer effort. That said, if you consider what a tech guy makes per hour - no reason to add up the hours valiant has put in. The consider what the site would cost if yo daddy didn't donate the server space. I think the thread has evolved into a minimal gift from able members to make these guys efforts worthwhile.

Tell me where to send my donation and I'll have it in the mail Monday, lets get this going, and I for one think MJ SHOULD take a cut from the money to recoup.

Just my <2cents worth. < since 2 cents isn't worth 2 cents anymore.

Whatever is decided, I'm in and will contribute...here's my thoughts on issues discussed...Of course ultimately non of this matters, cuz MJ is and should be the one to decide all issues...that said, here's some SUGGESTIONS...:)

Different amounts have been discussed...So why not accept different amounts in $5 increments...that way each can contribute something in line w/what they can afford.

Personally I don't believe any list of contributors should exist, other than what MJ keeps w/back up by Trident.

The $$ raised are sent to MJ and distributed by MJ at his discretion...he knows where it needs to go.

I personally wouldn't object to a YoDaddy logo occupying the right corner of the page in the top banner...I had no idea they were donating their services and feel some recognition would not be a bad thing...the logo would scroll away w/the top banner, but seen each time you log on...maybe even w/a link to their homepage

This has always been a one for all and all for one community...and special pages for contributors only creates a divide for those who can and those who can't...and no badges...it just becomes a divisive kinda thing.

An extra markup on T-Shirts would be a great way to raise funds also.

Those are my thoughts...this has been a great place for a long time because we are all equal here...Tim did us a solid by starting the site...Joe did another by taking it on and continuing the high standards...but even those two would agree, without the participation of all the members, what they did and continue to do would be for naught...

:clap:To all who make WellcraftV20.com a great place to visit...

All right it seems pretty well unanimous, no particular site list or whatever. Just each year in the beginning of the year each guy send what he can to MJ to disperse to ALL THREE GUYS.

MJ post up an address and/or pay pal acct. I will put a check in the mail today.
