Re: '88 Duallie...Now w/PIX
deshet..its all yours bro.....i've decided i got too much going on in my life at the moment to think about another boat.....i need to concentrate on getting myself to panama city..get me a house,yard/garage ..then start thinking about more projects, i'll be living out of luggage, hotels and maybe temporary apartments for atleast the next 2 months.....even though this hull is nice , i dont need the extra stress right now.
i'll kick myself later..but i'm sure something else will pop up...hopefully a nice mint condition center console ;D ....i'll just have to be settled down and ready jump on it. good luck on it. |

Great Pics. REEL, I slipped past this post. :-X ;D
Ok, so whats the word, who is teh new owner of this Dually. That is a great looking hull. Take 2 grand in cash and see if he jumps. Worse thing he can say is no. |
Re: '88 Duallie...Now w/PIX
First I would like to say thanks reelapeelin for posting the great find.
I bought the boat today and got it home without any problems. The boat owner was a little too honest and presented the boat in worse condition than it really was in. Tires made it home without problems, and I just filled the bearing buddies with grease and that was it. The compression on the motor was around 125 on all cylinders. My only question: is the water that comes out of a pee hole on a mercury at idle a little warmer then most others engines? The motor sounds great and shifts perfectly. I believe the engine was rarley run. It still has the orginial emergrency pull cord attached to the engine cover untouched. Worse comes to worse I bought a 130 yamaha yesterday with all the rigging for $500. I even went out in the bay with that motor yesterday. It is nice when everything works out. thanks |

About that pisser, on my 88 Merc 150 the pisser dont start till the tstats open, so yes, it is very warm water, as in hot to the touch.

Congrads Deshet on your new boat. Thats a sweet looking boat. So what was the final cost if ya dont mind me asking ?? So what kind of work does it need ? someboady said the steering was disconnected ?, what are your plans to do list with her ??
And why didnt you post any pics. when you got her home. >:( >:( >:( ;D |
Re: '88 Duallie...Now w/PIX
Deshet congrats brother, may she bring you a lot of luck.
The merc's all do that with the pisser, the two I had would just barely dribble out until the engine got to operating temps and then would piss good. Again Congrats ;D |
Re: '88 Duallie...Now w/PIX
Kajun,
Good luck on your move to Panama City, Fl. Don't know when you last visited PC. Within the past few years prices have gone sky high. However, fishing, fresh and salt is really good. |
