Re: Desperately Seeking Windshield
Hey Guy,
Not sure if you're still looking (I've been "away" from the Site for over a year).... anyway, I met this guy on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Easton (across the Cheasapeake from Annapolis) who had a V20-Steplift he was stripping for parts, I think he still had the windshield about a year and a half ago. He has a whole "Boneyard" of old boats and a warehouse full of parts. He actually had several heat exchangers for the fresh water cooling on my boat, and his prices are pretty cheap. If nothing else, he may know of one somewhere. No website, got to call, and they aren't quick about pciking up the phone either... it's a real Father & Son kind of operation. His company Marine Mart His name Irvin Horne His number 410-822-0166 If that doesn't work, and you're still looking, I am thinking about scrapping my "project boat" because I just don't have the time and money right now.... not since I have another running boat. I may be willing to sell you the windshield off it.... the scrap idea is only a few days old.... but right now I think I'd get more for the trailer and selected parts than the boat as is.... but I'm not sure. |

Jester has a gallery I thought. His V didnt look bad at all from what I recall. Unless he has another V.
:Just One More" was the name of his V I thought. Gotta check. ;D |
Re: Desperately Seeking Windshield
That would be a great parts boat. Its in his gallery.

Re: Desperately Seeking Windshield
Just to clarify, the windshield purchase with Mulv is near complete. Funds have been exchanged. We are avoiding the shipping issue by having my brother pick it up near Philly on his way by during his Washington to Boston trip next week.

Sounds great!!!!!! Thats the best way to do it!
Now the question is what about the enclose?? Me first :-* |
Re: Desperately Seeking Windshield
Just a suggestion. Side windshield glass broke on my 78 cutty. Replaced with 1/4 " "Lexan" and it has lasted over 5 years.
