I think the rooms aat the college will be the cheapest, but I'm on day work the next two days. A council member owns a motel on the Lewes canal called teh Canal Front Inn. If he wants my re-election vote, he better give me a deal. ;D
Do you and CEO prefer to be in the middle of town with all the action or in a quiet and secluded place like at the University. I hope to have more price's in the am.

Willy, I had my honey moon at the college. They were great. But if you plan to stay for a few days, maybe the Beacon. They have a pool for the CEO to lay next to.

Aww . . . thanks hammer, but it's not gonna happen with my current work situation. My micro-manager boss has me choke collar after my two coworker's gave their notice. I already put in for 4 days in June to go to FL to visit my Brother and new nephew. If I take a day vacation . . . it's a BIG deal. Maybe I'll make a surprise visit, but it'll be a last minute thing.

ok hammer, I think with the two kids the motel with the pool is good for me too..... also we have to set up a place where everyone can meet up. Iam going to look up ferry schedule and get down early as possible sat morning and stay till sunday nite. does this beacon motel have a website I can reserve a room or I can call.

Lumber sounds the same for me. I don't know how much pool time I would get. Plan to hang with everyone as long as I can and hopefully we can find a good place to all get together for most of the time I am down there.

The Beacon should have a site. The beacon is also maybe 3 blocks from my house. We can meet at the Beacon or at my place. I plan on doing lunch I guess on the grill, unless we are on the beach relaxing from my house, or at the point fishing. We can fish from my house, but there are special times posted for surf fishing on the beach. We can always night fish for awhile with a bonfire. Will be checking on the Beacon soon enough by Wednesday.

Count me in fer sure. We only get to go around this sun so many times, I plan on making the most of mine. I'll be up that morning and going home that night, unless the party gets too good. Man, I can't wait now.

Air if you can do it, you got to stay at least to buy me breakfast on Sunday morning, and fish that day, we can let the ladies go do the shop around thing, or whatever they want and we can either hit the boats or hit the surf or even do a charter which is something I thought might be a good day if we do a V Team charter of a boat. Will let us all fish together, eat and drink a few beers.
Depending on how many guys are coming we may have a smaller boat all to ourselves, would be a good time.

We'll see what happens. That is peak season for me. I can walk away for one day without much fuss. I don't think I've ever missed a weekend in season in my entire adult life....but there is a first time for everything ;D

Hey guys, I dont have any flags on my boat, so whats a normal size flag size for a boat. I was just on a site that makes custom flags. I want to order 15 boat flags with our Home site logo. I sent them the logo requesting a price. I gave them a approximate size of 12"x12". Is that a good size for our boat ??
Figure, anybody who shows up, gets a free flag. Now all we need is a Banner with a GROUP shot. We will be making history. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Surf fishing during the day can be accomlished on Cape Henlopen during the day,
I can shuttle people in and out.

The state police get alot of complaints there for some reason. They must have weekly rentals or something. Drunks, domestics and other crazy $hit goes on out there.
Would be great if we can have our tee shirts done by the party date.

Maybe it's just the off season people that stay there. Construction workers and stuff. Its a nice place, but it does have its complaints.

There are head boats that leave out of Lewes,
right by where the Irish Eyes burned.

They are usually not that full.

Sunday may be a good day for that.

Thats what I was thinking, just cause we can all relax, shoot the breeze and no one has to entertain anyone. And maybe catch some fish :)
Unless we are going to have four or five V's tied up at the dock, but even then we still will be in smaller groups. Either way works for me, just a option to consider

I asked the wife last night if I could go (just a formality) and she told me to leave now so I won't be late!! ;D

We will be there Sat morning and stay to Sunday, But I have no idea if we will have time to do anything ?? Depends how CB is feeling and the amount of cash it all costs, I am going to be on a shoe string budget! :(

Hey, we can do this thing on a shoestring budget. no problem. If BShrimpin ain't coming, I'll kick that 20 for his ticket towards the food. Heck, we can do burgers and dogs and the grill, a few cold salads, whatever beverages y'all want...hang out on the beach and watch the waves. Doesn't matter to me, I just want to put a name with a face. I already know Hammer and Turbo. I wanna meet some of the other ugly mugs ;D

Well, I know all the head boat capts. if ya want to do a charter, but if its scheduled, we gotta pay if we go or dont. But the big fishing boats run half day trips all day long. My buddy has that pirate ship, we can charter a cruise on that. I got the gas grill, need to swipe a picknick table.

So whats the consensus, do a half day or full day charter on Sunday, hang out on the beach and surf fish or cruise the area in a couple of V's in the afternoon.

Saturday get together early and do some fishing and hanging out with the ladies on the beach or whatever they like. Do a dinner, either at a place or do a barbecue somewhere where we can all contribute and do a bar for a bit and hit the beach at night with a fire some surf poles and loose women :o
and hang out for awhile.
