Such is life....Seas are still rolling pretty big off the beach where I wanted to go this morning. Looks like I may head over around Deal Island and poke around abit. ;)

Here is the Spro jig setup I described......I prefer white jigs usually though.

That looks nice. *Those spro jigs are beautiful. Almost too pretty to fish with. ;D
Lance: I drove over to Chincoteague late last night. The tide was way up and ebbing out hard. Looked like a very strong ebb tide. Are there any croakers up inside around queens sound? I saw some night owls out there fishing off the rock by the bridge. Whats snapping around there right now? Im off all week & plan to fish for something a bit closer to home. That haul down to Oyster & Kiptopeake gets old. |

There are plenty of croakers around and the water temps have mederated a bit. I was out tonight. I came home through the sound just before dark and there was some bird play at the bridge, probably snapper blues, but I didn't catch anything. It's time for some trout to be around.
