Go to your local 7-11, quicky mart or wherever you get the local slushy type drink. Fill 1/2 way with whatever type of slushy you enjoy. Proceed home and then fill other half of slushy with whatever poison you like...Personally bacardi rum or parrot bay coconut rum...mix a little with straw and enjoy...be wary of brain freeze....needless to say, by end of slushy, lawn is not cut straight....wife thinks I'm only drinking slurpy.

that sounds really good....rum is the only booze i drink except for amarula. if anyone likes rum and coke i suggest Cruzan Blackstrap.

What's amarula? Could it be a combination of amaretto and Kahlua?

Drinks Drinks Drinks

Mixed drinks are too hard to bring out on the boat, unless they are mixed dockside and in sealable containers. Beer beer and more beer. Corona takes priority, followed by Budweiser products. Although I have a great Coors Light cooler, that crap is never allowed on board. Remember to bring all the empties back and dont litter our seas!

Beer and water for this guy. Always quality beer. Usually bring 3 or 4 for the day; just enough to enjoy, but not enough to get into trouble.

I like a preacher who's not afraid of the "Devils Urine".

Bygracealone 03-29-2008 10:52 PM

RM, yep, I thank the Lord for good wine and beer and I enjoy them, in moderation, of course. To quote the Good Book:

1 Corinthians 10:31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Here are some fun quotes from others of the past:

God in his goodness sent the grape to cheer both great and small. Little fools will drink too much and great fools none at all--author unknown

Do not suppose that abuses are eliminated by destroying the object which is abused. Men can go wrong with wine and women. Shall we then prohibit and abolish women?--Martin Luther

So, hey guys, don't be afraid to invite this "pastor" over for a few beers. Though I'm quite conservative in my theological and political views, I really am an easy-going guy (if I do say so myself :-)

Cheers!

Well said BGA!

Stinky_Hooker 03-31-2008 12:34 PM

Very well said BGA...I like that. I think there is much wisdom in those words. As with all things the older you get the more responsible you become. I know the first few times I drank it was anything but pleasing to the Lord. Ive grown much since then and I am proud to say now I do it in a much different way.

With that said...Im a whiskey man.

Crown Royal...on the rocks for me please.

If no Crown then Ill take Canadian Mist anytime.

At my Superbowl party this year my Preacher had a Coors Light.

We are Methodist afterall.

Hey, that reminds me of some jokes, I'll put em in "Off Topic" so as not to hijack my own thread.
