people would ask where i was from, I'd tell them "Raleigh", then they would ask when I moved to Raleigh! Iwas one of the few who was actually born there. The transplants started when IBM moved everyone from Pikiptsi(?), NY to Apex/Cary, NC. That started the Research Triangle thing, then Money Magazine announced that the Raleigh/Durham arer to be the best place in the US to live, you could see the moving vans lined up I85 and I95. I miss some friends and family ther, but don't miss the city(we'll maybe some of the eating joints).

Charelston is getting allmost as bad, East of the Cooper might as well be Cary at the beach.
