1982 Cuddy I/O. Engine is 898 Merruiser (Chevy 305 v-8) - 200 hp.

im going to put in the 200hp 4 cly i/o for $2400 what i like about an i/o is i can troll all day at 600 rpm cant do that with my outboard , when i want to troll now i have to use my riptide

Um my last 3 outboard boats would troll at 600 to 800 rpm's.

Pullin' live-bait, I use the Rip-Tide, all else w/the Honda at 600 rpms all day long... 8)...

My yamaha will troll at 600, put I think we need an different prop to troll wiith?? Cause I am still to fast at 600?

I'm tellin you, the cheap way to lower trolling speed is a 5 gallon pail on a 5 foot line astern.

well the truth is i cant see spending $10,000 plus for a new outboard to put on a 25 year old boat if i had the cash i would, but i would like to use the boat a season or two to see how it handles the rough water before i put some big money into here
